Does it get any more adorable than this? My heart was melting when I painted Seamus. How can it not when you have those eyes looking at you for hours and hours?
Commissioned by a client in Indiana, she wanted to surprise her husband with forever capturing his amazing dog on canvas. My client shared with me how much Seamus means to his owner and after reviewing several fantastic photos of him, we decided on a photo of him slumbering on the couch because his eyes were so expressive.
“Seamus, the Sweetie” is an original 10×10 inches acrylic pet portrait on a 1.5 inches deep gallery wrapped canvas. All sides are painted with a natural color drawn from the color palate of the portrait. The painting is sealed with a matte varnish for protection.
