Ordering Your Commission

If you are interested in a painting made especially for you, I’d be happy to work out the details with you. Pricing is based on the size of the canvas, see payment section. Please contact me ahead of time to make sure I have availability as my commission schedule fills up.

Payment & Installment Plans

This is a secure shopping site, and I accept all the common credit cards. In person, I accept cash and checks as well.

For commissions, I typically do a non-refundable deposit of half the cost. This reserve your spot in my schedule. The remainder is due (and any sales tax) once the painting is finished. Shipping and handling is additional and will be set requested at the time of the final payment. Contact me to receive a estimated shipping quote.

Installment plans are available when purchasing original art. The remainder can be stretched out via installments for up to 3 months with not added fees, or we can stretch it to 6 months with a 5% extended payment plan fee. You will receive the painting once the full payment has cleared. No refunds are available.


If you live in Virginia, the 5% sales tax will be added to your online order.


Shipping cost is extra and calculated individually and will depend on the product and your location. Please contact me for a shipping quote for your location. If you are local to the Washington DC area we can also arrange pick-up. I’d be happy to arrange a rush order if needed. Let me know and I will expedite the service for a rush delivery rate.

Original paintings are carefully wrapped and packaged in box(es) and usually ships within 5-10 business days via USPS Priority Mail or FedEx Ground. Delivery time depends on your location. Shipments to foreign countries are subject to custom charges which vary by country.

Limited editions are put in plastic sleeves and ships in mailing tubs.  Items usually ships within 3-5 business days via USPS First Class or Priority Mail. Framed limited editions are ‘pick-up only’ at my studio in Reston, Virginia.

Prints are packaged carefully in a plastic sleeve and secured on a backing board and ships in a mailer.

Boxed Notecards are carefully packaged and ships in a mailer.

Refunds & Exchange

If for any reason you want to return an item, I am happy to refund the price of the item upon receiving it in good condition. You will handle the return delivery charge. The item needs to be returned within 14 days. Once I get the return, I will credit your account within 3-5 business days. Please note that our banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account. Commissions cannot be returned or refunded.
