These are your reference photos of Charlie—the portrait we’ll be painting together throughout the challenge.
You’ll use these to guide your sketch and painting as we move through each step.
1. One photo of the finished painting in scale 8×10 inches.
2. One photo of Charlie with Grid in scale 8×10 to use for when you transfer the sketch onto your canvas (see Prep Work for the steps).
Download (right-click on the photo and click save image as) or print these to keep nearby as you paint. Each day, you’ll receive a new photo of Charlie which highlights the section we’re focusing on painting for that day.
Note: If you print any of these, make sure your printer scale is set to normal. Measure the photos after you’ve printed them to make sure they are 8×10 inches.
