Afternoon Tea with a martini on the side

There’s nothing like Afternoon Tea with a dirty martini on the side!  On weekdays I paint in the evening so sometimes I enjoy a beer, wine or a drink while painting. Just a little one as I have to concentrate and work fairly quickly but it’s nice to add some extra enjoyment a little bit. And I love a good dirty martini.

I was contemplating leaving the painting without flowers. Isn’t it so peaceful and classic with just white teacups? But after seeing the finished version it seems a little empty as well. I wouldn’t mind a large painting like this though on the wall.

Some bonds never really leave us.
They simply find new ways to stay close.
