Family Laughing Easter 2007

Found this old photo from Easter 2007. Cameraman: My 3-year old nephew.

Being at work on a Maundy Thursday and Good Friday or even Christmas Eve never seems right, no matter how long I’ve been in the U.S. I just can’t get used to it. In Sweden you get so many days off, including those. It’s a cultural tradition and families celebrate it at home or in the countryside.  You paint eggs and dress up as witches. Suuure, never heard of the Easter Witch?

Some bonds never really leave us.
They simply find new ways to stay close.
