As I mentioned earlier on the blog, I participated in a Holiday Gift Show at the House of Sweden (the Swedish Embassy in Washington DC) this past Saturday. What a great time! It was wonderful to see so many Swedes living in the U.S., first- and second-generation Swedes and Americans who love the Swedish culture or have friends who took them there (or in my case and many of my Swedish girlfriends’ case – our husbands!).

My area was on the first floor right in front of the “fika” tables! I talked to some wonderful people and many complimented me on my art and stationery. The Holiday Cards are definitely a hit with many, both sizes too! I didn’t get a chance to take a photo of the full set-up before my big tulips were bought, however, this is me at the end of the show.

The show concluded with the Lucia procession which was beautiful. The snowstorm outside definitely added to the holiday spirit, though it didn’t help that Casey couldn’t get up our hill to come pick me up! Thanks sis for driving me home!
