Pink tulips

Let’s see how long these lovely tulips last. Miss Lola loves to eat the leaves.

I know, it’s slow here on the blog this week and I apologies for lack of posts. I wrapped up a painting Sunday and feel I’ve gone into TLC mode where I just need to restore my creative juices before I start the next commission of a lovely lily.

How do you restore after “birthing” a large project? I’m trying to spend time with my husband in the evenings, catching up on the things he doesn’t like watching with me, like American Idol and maybe some girly movie. And even though I rather veggie out in bed, I still keep up with the work outs. It took me 34 years but I finally get how important that release is.

Stacey's Cocktails & Canvases June 3, 2013

I’m hosting another Cocktails & Canvases this Saturday! It’s between 1-4 PM and be sure to register by Thursday at midnight so I can prep accordingly. Hope to see you!

Some bonds never really leave us.
They simply find new ways to stay close.
