Our amazing friends, so close we are family in our eyes, exchanged their vows recently on a family estate in Easton, Maryland. The place was breathtaking and the perfect setting for a wedding of two people that have such authentic love for each other, their families and friends. 

We helped out ahead of the wedding and arrived early on Friday. One of the things Casey did was help the groom set up a photo-booth for all the guests to have fun with during the reception. In the evening, Jennifer had her bachelorette party and Salih had his bachelor party – which turned into a joint affair in the end with the bachelorette winning in beer pong. Fun fun fun.

The morning of the wedding, Casey and I took the groom out for a hearty breakfast. Then I helped the bride with setting the tables etc. before getting ready for the wedding. I got to see both the groom and the bride as they were getting ready and of course I had almost ruined my make up before the ceremony even got started. That’s me.

It was an amazing few days and we’re so honored we could be there every step of the way the last few days helping out together with their families (who by the way are as loving and caring as J&S). In our eyes, Jennifer and Salih have been married a long time. To celebrate their love with them during their wedding was so amazing. To witness their heartfelt vows and their first dance were big moments for me. Tears were flowing. Just beautiful, and the super moon was the icing on the already fantastic cake.
