“It looks amazing! I just wanted to say thank you again, you were wonderful to work with
and I’m so happy to have this as a reminder of our wedding day.”

– Jordan from Brandenburg, Kentucky.

It was such a joy to work on this painting. Bridal bouquets are such symbols of love and happiness and I think of all the joy and hope when I paint them. I really do. It’s contagious. Jordan (the client) is a sweetheart and I’ll miss our email exchanges now that the painting has arrived at her home in Kentucky.

She contacted me in early December regarding a custom order for her and her husband to celebrate their five year wedding anniversary. We worked together to figure out what canvas size would best fit their home. The yellow, mustard-like, background color was my suggestion to make the colors pop and feel more modern as she wanted to bring that into her more traditional home. I personally think it looks fantastic with the flowers and the square canvas. Happy, modern and romantic all at the same time, especially for their living room with soft blues and sand color.

Here’s a larger photo of the painting (the background color in the left bottom corner is a little lighter do to the sun coming in through my window in the studio).

Jordan’s Bridal Bouquet” is a acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas, measuring 18in x 18in (46cm x 46cm) and is 1.5 inches (3.8cm) deep. As you can see, it’s painted on all sides so no frame is necessary.

If you’re interested in a bridal bouquet painting and would like to know how to order one and how much they cost, this blog post will be helpful.
