The tulips just keep coming! This one reminds me of almost a pencil drawing on a red/magenta background. The background is definitely red in bright sunlight but as I’m looking at it right now in the early morning hours, you can see the tones of magenta in it as well.

The “Red Closed Tulip” is an original acrylic painting in the same size as the recent tulips, i.e. “Pink Closed Tulip” (24×18 inches and 1.5 inches deep). It’s painted on all sides so no frame is necessary.
