{The Pearl, original painting by Erica Eriksdotter}

It was hard to keep this piece all to myself while I was painting it. I wanted to share a photo of it every minute as it built into this colorful jewel. 

The Pearl is an original acrylic that measures 30 x 40 inches and is 1.5 inches (76 x 102 x 3.8 cm). It’s a close up of a purple/pink and green calla lily. The background is a mix of a yellow/gold color which blends into a light gray color creating a light-to-dark affect. This background mix blends onto the sides. The art work is signed on the front, and dated and signed on the back.

I’m really happy about this piece and it’s even lovelier in person. It has the same affect as the Large Pink+Gray when you see it – it just captivates you. 

I just finished another piece over the weekend that I will be sharing with you on Wednesday. My booth at the next art show will include three new larger pieces… hm.. Not sure how to fit them all but I’ll make it work somehow.
