“My mom was beyond thrilled, she was floored!” – A.H. of Delaware

My clients are so thoughtful! I was busy all of December with paintings that were being given as Christmas gifts. All in all it was 3 pet portraits and 2 fine arts paintings. How lucky am I!?

Trixie’s pet portrait is a custom original acrylic painting was commissioned by a daughter for her Mother as a Christmas gift. Her Mother has had many dogs but Trixie has always been the one closest to her heart. So sweet of her daughter to memorialize her favorite dog in this creative way.

We incorporated an ocean blue color as the background as my client’s Mother loves the beach. I’m really happy with the outcome and I think the colors compliment eachother well. The background spreads onto all sides, and the painting is sealed with a matte varnish to protect it against UV light, dust, smoke etc.

Trixie measures 8×10 inches and is painted on a 1.5 inches deep gallery wrapped canvas.
