“Bird’s View” – Painting a Day No 2

A little bird snuck his way into my “Painting a Day” series! This must be my first ever animal I’ve painted and I hope you really enjoy it as my 2nd original acrylic painting of ten during this event.
This painting is based off of a photograph Casey took a few years back while we were eating some crabs at the downtown DC fish market. It was sitting high up on an outlook enjoying the sun setting which made his feathers shine like gold. I find it quite peaceful.
“Bird’s View” measures 12×12 inches and is 1.5 inches deep. The sky and the outlook continues onto the sides so it can hang with or without a frame.
The painting is signed on the front and signed, titled and dated on the back. I will package it carefully for protection and ship it via USPS.
