I have the best customers ever, and many of them came out this past Saturday for my Annual Open Studio Event and I was so thrilled to see them. It’s always so fun to get to be face-to-face for a change. This time, as a treat, my friend Lauren from Stella & Dot partnered up with me and sprinkled her colorful jewelry, fun bags and scarves around the house.

The event kicked off at Noon and went until 5 pm and there was a steady stream of people coming the whole time. By 3 pm the dining room was so crowded you could barely get around! That’s what I love to see. These photos are from a couple of hours into the event.

We had a fun raffle where folks could enter to win a fine art print and a set of notecard of their choice, and a nice pair of earrings from Stella & Dot (for a total value of $96). We drew a lucky winner at 5 pm (Corinne – congrats!).

We served mimosas, wine, soda and coffee, and delicious cheese! My assistant from this past Spring, Katie-Beth, helped me and all the customers with coats and drinks. She also accepted all the payments for me this time so I could spend more time with each customer, and run around to talk to everyone. All in all it was a very successful event and I’ve already penciled in the next date so stay tuned!
