Happy June 1st! Summer is officially here and I am so excited to share this preview of the painting I’ve been working on lately. I really wanted to finalize it this weekend but I’ve been working on a couple of commissions as well so time ran out. Oh well. It’s not completely finished, I still have details to add to enhance it and seal it with glossy varnish which will make the colors pop even more…but I’m too excited to not share it with you! Do you like it?

Casey snapped this photo over the weekend while I was enjoying “Rolling Thunder” in DC. In it, you can also spot a photo we just hung taken by Kenneth Lecky at LeckyPhotography.com.
