Hi, I’m Erica

I’m a third-generation painter, and I’ve been painting for almost 40 years.

I sold my first painting at age 10 in Sweden, and today my artwork is collected around the world and has been featured in publications including The Washington Post and The New York Times.

But beyond the paintings, commissions, and years I’ve spent teaching other artists, there’s something that has always remained true:

I paint because my heart aches without it.

Creating has been my sanctuary, my joy, and a way of connecting with myself through every season of life.

And I know how easy it can be, even when you love creating, to let everything else come first.

That’s why I created the Studio Circle.

Because I believe creativity deserves more than the time we have left over.

I wanted to create a welcoming home where artists could find inspiration, encourage one another, and keep making space for the creative part of themselves.
