“Pink Calla on Orange” – Painting No 3 of Summer Art Auction 2012

8×10 on 1.5 inches deep gallery wrapped canvas (26 x 20 x 4cm)

SOLD

I love these two colors together! Such a powerful combination, a color burst for sure. The pink calla lily is such a glamorous flower and the orange background really holds its own in this painting.

You are viewing this calla from above where you almost fall into its depth. The orange background compliments this by going from dark to a lighter shade highlighting the focus on the closeness to the flower.

The original acrylic painting measures 8×10 inches and is made on a 1.5 inches deep gallery wrapped canvas. The orange shades spread onto all sides. Framing is optional and definitely not needed. It is signed on the front, and titled, signed and dated on the back. It is ready to hang on the wall.

This isn’t the first pink calla lily I’ve painted (see here) nor the first calla (see herehere, here and here). You can tell that I really enjoy painting them, huh?

Once the bidding is over and this painting has a winner, I will ship it via USPS Priority Mail or US Priority International Mail Globally. It will be packaged very carefully and insured for the auction value.
