“Pink Sweetheart Rose” – Painting No 6 of Summer Art Auction 2012

This romantic light pink rose has a little bit of a blur effect to it. The center of the rose is in focus yet the other petals have less detail and come across almost blurry (yet not distracting to the eye). It’s another first for me and thought it was a lovely idea to try.
It’s inspired by one of the photos my husband took of the bouquet he gave me for Valentine’s Day, which makes makes this piece even sweeter.
“Pink Sweetheart Rose” measures 8×10 inches and is painted on a 1.5 inches deep gallery wrapped canvas. The sides are painted with a very light soft pink color. A frame is not necessary.
Once the bidding is over and this painting has a winner, I will ship it via USPS Priority Mail or US Priority International Mail Globally. It will be packaged very carefully and insured for the auction value.
