This is the companion piece to “Pink Sweetheart Rose” which is painting number 6 in this Summer Art Auction 2012 series. They go really well together if one is looking for more than one painting.
This is a close up of a pink and lavender rose from a bouquet my husband gave me. I asked him to photograph a few of them so I could paint them one day. I always enjoy how he sees things through his lens and this is his composition. Hopefully you enjoy the intimacy it brings… For some reason it reminds me of water. Maybe I’m just crazy…
“Purple Sweetheart Rose” measures 8×8 inches and is painted on a 1.5 inches deep gallery wrapped canvas. The sides are painted with a soft light pink/purple color and a frame is not necessary.
Once the bidding is over and this painting has a winner, I will ship it via USPS Priority Mail or US Priority International Mail Globally. It will be packaged very carefully and insured for the auction value.
