Let’s take a look back at Diana’s Bridal Bouquet painting. I had such a blast painting this fun and whimsicle bouquet, a style requested by the client.

A peak at the lighter background color that I first started out with…. It just wasn’t ‘poppin’ enough for me.

Ahhhh, I often forget to celebrate a finished piece, but not this time. Man, that beer tasted amazing! 🙂

Coordinated ribbon color – swoon!

The client was absolutely thrilled when she saw this painting in my studio for the first time. She got the big reveal in person and I teared up watching her to her painting. It was amazing to see such pure joy and pride over her very own bridal bouquet painting – a piece that I had created.

I hope you enjoyed this look back at how this painting came to life. I think it’s fun to look back and see the photos again and remember what the weather was like, the brushstorkes i did and maybe even what I was listening to while painting. You can read the blog post about the finished piece here and see more photos of it here.

 xo,
Erica
