It’s a new week in the studio and before I grab the first cup of tea of the day, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank all the new fans that has joined my Facebook page! It’s so nice to see the support and new friends engaging in my work. I really appreciate it!
This past weekend, I’ve been so excited to work on a new painting that I found myself painting even in the middle of the night! The new piece will be a big “Lion Sun.” It’s going to look so good over a sofa or even by itself on a wall. I’m so excited for it to be done and it’s coming along really well and I hope to be ready to share it with you some time next week.
I received a lovely ‘thank you’ note from one of my customers a few days ago! I’m so grateful to be able to paint in the first place and then to receive wonderful notes from people who look at my art every day in their homes is… well, it just blows my mind. It is such a wonderful feeling.
Speaking of art in the home… another painting found its home yesterday and I’m so happy because I got to see where they plan to hang it! Yay! And it looked really good! I find it interesting to see were people chose to hang their new art work and where they feel it best highlights their home and brings them the most joy.

Studio Eriksdotter had a wonderful mention on Everything Fabulous over the weekend! I was jumping up and down when I saw Sasha’s lovely note on my write up a couple of days ago. Isn’t it wonderful what written words and honesty can make someone feel?
