Honor your pet’s memory with a custom pet portrait

A hand-painted portrait that captures your pet’s spirit
and the bond you shared.

Meet Erica, the artist behind the portraits

Hi, I’m Erica. I’m a third-generation painter, and painting is how I breathe. I create custom pet portraits for people who want to honor a bond that mattered deeply.

The desire to paint pets began with my childhood dog, Lucas. Losing him was my first experience of how isolating grief can be. Painting became the way I learned to stay connected to love and memory when words were no longer enough, and his presence continues to shape the care I bring to every portrait.

Before a single brushstroke is placed, I take time to listen to your pet’s story, their presence, and the relationship you shared. Each piece is painted with intention, using traditional methods and archival materials chosen to last for generations, allowing the portrait to emerge with honesty and depth.

Many of the people who find their way here are navigating loss, transition, or remembrance. My role is to hold space for that and translate it into something tangible, meaningful, and enduring.

The Portrait Experience

Commissioning a portrait is a deeply personal experience.

Each piece begins with a quiet conversation, where I learn about your pet, your story, and the bond you shared. From there, I paint slowly and intentionally, one portrait at a time, using traditional techniques and archival materials chosen to last for generations.

Many clients come to me during moments of loss or transition. My role is not to rush that process, but to hold space for it and translate what matters most into something tangible, meaningful, and enduring.

Throughout the process, you are gently guided and kept informed, so the experience feels supportive, thoughtful, and calm from beginning to end.

The result is not just a likeness, but a portrait that reflects who your pet was to you.
