Some of you may know that I LOVE Carolina Gynning (a famous artist/TV-personality/blogger/writer etc. in Sweden). Yeah, she can be really “out there” sometimes but overall, I think she is a true inspiration to what is possible if you set your mind to it.
This weekend, Carolina and her mother (a sculptor) are exhibiting in Stockholm and I sooo wish I could attend her show! I get so inspired by her art and how she presents herself. Her art is extremely bold and not for everyone, especially not in the US, but I admire her color use and the sizes of her canvases. She’s brave and she just does what she wants. Her art is in your face but still has a soft side to it.

I want to exhibit in a space like this so bad! I love the white open space where the art takes centerstage. And I really want to try my hands on a “larger than life” canvas.

For my friends in Sweden, you can attend the art exhibit at PUB, plan 1, on Drottninggatan (Hotorget) Nov. 19-21. I hope you go see it if you have a chance! Enjoy!
