Bailey’s Pet Portrait

BY ERICA ERIKSDOTTER

Bailey’s mom first met him through a photo posted in her local bakery in Seattle of this adorable pomeranian mix up for sale. His owner was sick and needed to give him away. She arranged to meet and the owner shows up with Bailey on a rope. No records, no supplies, just a little guy who weighed all of 6 pounds and smelled like cigarette smoke and had leaves in his tangled mane. He was one year old at the time and they’ve been together ever since.

My client thought of either turquoise or ruby red and after a few tests we settled for the warm embrace of the gem.

LOVE NOTE

“It looks fantastic. I love it.
