I can’t believe it’s been 3 months already since our trip to California. We finally made it to San Francisco, our final stop on the California Highway 1 trip. You may recall our stops in San Diego, Laguna Beach, Solvang, Big Sur, and Carmel and Monterey and here are some lovely scenic viewes before entering SF.

I was always amazing with how the beach changed. Sometimes it was completely flat, other times it had huge cliffs or farm land all the way to the water.

What to do? We had created a map of places to visit along our whole drive and it came in handy in SF as well when there were so many things to do.

Best seafood place ever. Amazing. Swan’s Oyster Depot. It only has 10 seats and you sit at the bar and eat all the seafood that is fresh off the boat. I still dream of this meal.

Another amazing food place, Rose’s Cafe. Their breakfast pizza is to die for.

We did a wine tour in Napa Valley at Rutherford Hill Winery, which was a lot of fun. It was nice to taste different wines and knowing the backstory of each.

It was such a lovely visit, a busy one for sure but I fell in love with California all over again. I still imagine myself standing on those gorgeous beaches and feeling the sun on my face. Heaven.
