There are different things that can play a role into how we perceive hues. The light where you paint can play a role, the brightness or color-calibration on your monitor or the night-shift on your tablet as you’re watching the videos can play a role. Know that if you use the same paint colors as I do and blend roughly the same amounts as you see I blend, you’ll be in the close range of the same hue.

In Module 3, there’s a bonus video all about blending that dives deeper into the hues and texture etc. that you may find extra useful if you’re finding this to be a challenge. I welcome you to release this type of resistance shows up for you throughout the process, and if you can’t shake it off and it’s not fun to paint – step away and do something else for a bit.
